Pair Round Super Horn Tweeters Speakers 4 inch Car Home Pro Audio Replacement for KSN1036A, KSN1038A, KSN1056A

PLEASE READ! This is a popular round super horn tweeter that's common in a variety of car, home, and pro speaker cabinets. They are an inexpensive quality aftermarket replacement for any Motorola KSN1036A, KSN1038A, or KSN1056A.

These unique tweeters also feature an optional extra terminal to activate a flashing LED. Simply jump a wire from the positive terminal to the extra terminal marked "L" and at higher volumes a LED will flash to the beat of the music.

NOTE: Tweeters are NOT full-range speakers! They are for high frequencies only!

It's a "piezo" design. In case you did not know...

They are extremely lightweight and do not have a magnet. As a rule they do not affect the impedance of sound systems and can be used with 4 and/or 8 ohm systems. No crossover is required but one can also be used.

Reliability is excellent. T hese OEM replacements by Vital Wave are a proven design. They're simply made better and are designed to last . Although it can be done (usually by accident), they're pretty hard to kill.

These tweeters work great wired in parallel and when used in multiples deliver even more high frequency output. This is often a configuration used in pro speakers and separate add-on tweeter only boxes.

Wiring is easy even for entry level installers. Simply connect the +/- terminals to any existing speaker output connection. Just make sure they are not connected to a woofer only output used with a coil or crossover. That will not allow the highs to pass through. We're glad to help with any wiring questions. Just ask!

These don't even need to be mounted in a cabinet! Place them anywhere and point them in the direction where you want to add some more detail and clarity to your sound. All you need is some speaker wire and we have plenty in our store.

I have been building and rebuilding speaker cabinets for years and personally love piezo tweeters. They really work great and sound good. But even better the price is right. No they are not expensive compression drivers and if that's what you're looking for these are not for you.
