Engine warranty details:

Any maintenance items such as gaskets, fluids, seals, filters, spark plugs, belts, aluminum bolts (the ones holding valve cover, oil pan, etc.) are not warrantied and must be replaced

Failure to replace valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, new bolts for said gaskets voids the warranty

Any aftermarket or performance parts or software present on the car voids the warranty

Engines guaranteed to turn, cylinder block not cracked, cylinder head not cracked, each cylinder to have compression of minimum 120 psi unless otherwise stated

Engine components such as timing chain, vanos gears, vacuum pump, chain guides are not warrantied. Other engine components external to the cylinder block and cylinder head are not warrantied.

Any parts left on the engine are not warrantied and are for installation convenience only, buyer assumes all risk and responsibility reusing them.

Overheating engine voids all warranties, Low oil or oil starvation voids all warranties for engine

All work must be performed by a licensed, ASE certified mechanic shop or BMW dealership, failure will result in voiding all warranties

Return timeframes:

Warranty period is 30 days from the day of delivery / pickup.

No item is eligible for return after 30 calendar days elapsed

Shipping details:

For all items shipped with freight and where signature is required, the customer must inspect for damage prior to accepting the item .

If an item is damaged, this information has to be noted on the carrier's documentation when signed. The signature transfers liability of the item .

If signature is not required, the customer must contact immediately via eBay message and notify of the damage

Buyer is responsible for any damages of the item until item is in possession of Straight Six Auto Parts

Straight Six Auto Parts puts great effort in multiple-step testing and inspecting the item to ensure accurate representation

The nature of used car parts has a risk of simple failure to function properly and customer assumes said risk

Improper installation may cause damage to the item and voids the warranty

Labor, programming and other associated costs are not covered

Items that are sold for core, for parts or as-is are not returnable under any circumstances, except of the damages caused by a carrier

If the item returned is physically damaged, missing components, has been taken apart, refurbished, alerted, remanufactured or otherwise been tampered with or modified, the warranty is voided

If an item is missing original components or components replaced with different / modified components, warranty is voided.

Buyer agrees that he or she been given full and fair opportunity to inspect each item prior to purchase

Warranty only covers the original cost of the item and under no circumstances Straight Six Auto Parts is responsible to recover any cost above the purchase price of the item.

Refund is processed once the merchandise received back and inspected
