It is very common for these trucks to suffer intermittent or even permanent failure.

Problems

such as: Pointers are jamming, or showing incorrect readings (e.g.

speedometer stuck at 120 mph, or oil pressure is always max, etc) or not

functioning at all.

This is due to stepper motor failure.

Stepper motors are what drives the needles.

The assembly factory uses a cheap quality stepper motor, I use high quality stepper motors.

With this economy repair service you will get the following:

- ALL Stepper motors will be replaced with latest generation OEM Switec/Juken X27.168 motors

- ALL back light bulbs will be replaced with OEM replacement bulbs

- All the gauges will be re-calibrated to factory specifications

- Re-flow power resistors to ensure trouble free performance

- Main circuit board check, battery drain issues corrected

- PRND321 display will be fixed (in case it is dim or completely out).

- Drivers information panel (Odometer) display will be repaired

- All silver migration removed

Can I drive the vehicle without the cluster? - Yes, your vehicle is

fully operational (driveable) without the cluster, just make sure you

have a gas in your tank :)

2) What is

the turn around time? - It depends on shipping mostly. In the worst

case scenario we ship the cluster on the next business day, in the best

case scenario on the same business day after the cluster is received

from the customer.

3) How to get the

cluster out? - Please search for GM cluster removal on Youtube and

you'll find plenty of videos. (It is extremely easy)

4) Do I need to reprogram the cluster once I will get it back? - No, all the information stored in the cluster remains intact.

5) What is the warranty? - We provide a full lifetime warranty on our work. This covers the stepper motors and both displays.

6) How do I go about purchasing the service? - The procedure is the following:

• You purchase this repair service by clicking Buy It Now.

• Print

out eBay order (from eBay purchase history or from a confirmation

email) and/or Paypal transaction receipt (from the confirmation email), also

include a note detailing the problems you are having with your cluster

including your name, return address, and contact phone number.

• You

carefully pack the cluster into the bubble cushion and packaging

peanuts into appropriate size box (we recommend 18" x 10" x 6") and

include your printout with any notes.

We carry stock plastic lens covers in-house, so if you plastic lens cover is broken/cracked we can replace it for an additional fee.

Send us a for message if you have a broken plastic lens cover for pricing information.

If you have a aftermarket lens cover, aftermarket needles, or an aftermarket overlay/gauge face, include them in the box and they will be installed for free.

We will keep your stock needles/overlay unless you specify in the note that you want them back.

If your cluster has damage from a previous repair attempt, we can still repair it, but there may be additional charges. This includes broken trip reset buttons, which we also carry in stock.

In the RARE event of a Warranty claim, you will be responsible for shipping both ways.
