Often you will find that the car trailer ramps included with many trailers provide too steep of an approach angle for many vehicles. Even enclosed trailer ramp doors will suffer from this issue. The traditional fix has been scavenging pieces of wood to stick under the end of the car loading ramps or trailer door to decrease the approach angle. Some will go as far as making dedicated (but heavy) wooden trailer ramp extensions with angled approach cuts and boards screwed or bolted together. A better solution is the lightweight molded trailer ramp extensions from Race Ramps. These trailer ramp extensions reduce the approach angle, are light and easy to carry, and are a much safer solution than various pieces of scrap wood. The one issue, however, is where to store these car loading ramps in the trailer when not loading or unloading your vehicle.

These ramp organizers are made from strong 3/32-inch thick aluminum sheet that are laser cut and folded to provide a secure storage option for a pair of car trailer ramps, a single Trailer Quick Jack tire ramp, or a pair of trailer ramp extensions. Mounting is handled via four pre-drilled 1/8-inch holes (fasteners not provided). Simply find a suitable location within your trailer, such as the trailer side wall, cabinet end, or side door, and attach using the appropriate fastener for the surface material (tapping screws, rivets, or standard nut and bolt).
