Is your transmission slipping between gears, making noise, leaking fluid? Does the fluid have a burnt smell? If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms you may be thinking about getting a “rebuilt” transmission, but before you lay out a lot of cash for something that may not last or be much better than what you have, consider a Replace remanufactured transmission. Unlike many companies that outsource production, Replace has complete control of the engineering, design, and assembly of everything they sell. Replace upgrades each transmission to eliminate original factory flaws, and this ensures you won’t be subject to a failure that might have caused your original transmission to go bad. Replace transmissions are remanufactured in their own ISO/TS 16949 certified facilities, using the latest machining processes and equipment, with the highest quality parts. They’re carefully tested, and backed by a 3-year/unlimited miles warranty.

Each remanufactured transmission is completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and all parts that will be reused painstakingly inspected by professional technicians. A Tru-Flat qualification process is applied to the case, valve body and pump to prevent cross-leaks and pressure loss. All new friction clutch plates and band linings are installed, as required, along with new spec bushings to improve internal fluid flow control and pressures. The valve body is fully remanufactured, and a complete system correction and calibration kit installed to improve pressure control and shift quality.

The pump is completely remanufactured with new line bore bushings to eliminate leaks and provide superior flow and durability. The fully remanufactured torque converter is tested for leaks, lockup, concentricity, and balance. Upgrades to the torque converter exceed OE requirements and eliminate the possibility of front seal leaks, premature bushing wear, and vibration. Finally, the transmission undergoes a road simulation test using a custom dynamometer testing program called CARS (Computer Aided Road Simulation), which includes both cold and hot testing.
